Grace under pressure
Phu Quoc, Vietnam | In a nerve-wracking night of delayed starts and rain-drenched venue, Miss Philippines ELIZABETH DURADO CLENCI proved what does “Grace Under Pressure” means.
The new Miss Grand International 2017 Second Runner-up almost made it to be the first Filipina Winner of the aforementioned pageant, which was held at Phu Quoc in Vietnam. She sashayed, twirled, flirted with the camera, and showed the seriousness of her passion towards promoting peace and societal responsibility. And despite of her almost-win, supporters, pageant aficionados, and even Liz herself, are happy with the answer she gave to the Final Question, “If you have to issue a law to punish war and violence criminals, how would you punish those people and why?”
This Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Queen gave the most logical, practical, and non-pageant-patty answer. Being an actual Peace Ambassador amongst the Top 5 Finalists which included the delegates from Peru, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Czech Republic, Elizabeth knows the real-life answer to the question, and it is Rehabilitation.
Watch this exclusive first interview of Elizabeth Clenci immediately right after the pageant. Here she talks about the merits of her rehabilitation advocacy, her gratitude towards all her supporters and even to the support given her by The Philippine Pageantry page.
MABUHAY and Congratulations, LIZ!
